Our Electric Forecourt® designs include disabled parking, access ramps, accessible washrooms, lifts to access all areas and braille on the signage throughout the interior of the building. We engage with relevant parties to audit Electric Forecourt® sites and suggest continuous improvements that also go on to inform our future designs.

At our Electric Forecourts® we offer High Power charging bays for drivers who require more room and these feature both CHAdeMO and CCS connectors. We also have dedicated accessible bays for Low Power (AC Type 2) charging pedestals, plus accessible spaces for non-charging visitors.

During retail opening hours we have GRIDSERVE EV Gurus onsite who are more than happy to help you charge your EV and help with any other questions you may have around electric cars.

The Electric Forecourts® are included on the fuelService app.

Simply select one of our Electric Forecourts® and fuelService will contact the GRIDSERVE EV Gurus and ask them if they can help.

Once assistance is confirmed, all you need to do is arrive at the charger and let the app know you have arrived. The fuelService app will then let you know how long assistance will be.

Top tip: Accessible bays etiquette

EV charging etiquette dictates that accessible bays should always be the last bay to be occupied, unless it is occupied by a disabled driver or a driver with additional access needs. We recognise that there may be times when it is the only remaining available charger so, in this circumstance and in the interest of minimising queuing, all drivers can use accessible bays to charge.

However, we do ask that drivers remain considerate of others, staying close to their vehicle in the case they can swap bays when another EV charger becomes available. This allows the accessible bay to remain available for those that need it most.
